Episode 177: Interview with Dr. Lacey Pitre

Published: September 23rd, 2024 Permalink

Linda Ockwell-Jenner is joined by Medical Oncologist, Dr. Lacey Pitre, FRCP(C) from Health Sciences North for a deeply personal conversation about Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) also known as Secondary Breast Cancer, or Stage 4 Breast Cancer.

There is a lot of research into the reasons that secondary breast cancer occurs, and by sharing this conversation Linda wants to raise awareness about this topic.

Until a cure is found the only outcome for women diagnosed with MBC is managed treatment. It’s important for those diagnosed with breast cancer to ask questions about this topic with their oncologist.
